Merryvale is Austin’s hidden gem. The venue sits on a 5 plus acre hilltop only 20 minutes from downtown Austin but seemingly miles away in the country down a country lane. Merryvale is surrounded by lush landscape and towering old live Oaks. At the Heart of Merryvale is our famous Heart Rock, the very core of the property. This site is built around an amazing natural rock formation which provides the perfect backdrop to your romantic Austin Wedding. We also have a hill country view site on the edge of the hill with spectacular panoramic views. There are several ceremony sites to choose from. We can accommodate up to 300 guests.
The heart
The Heart of Merryvale is organic to the property, shaped like a heart by Mother Nature herself. It needs no decoration to make it spectacular for your big day. Covered by a heavy mantle of live oak trees, The Heart of Merryvale is our largest and most popular outdoor location and keeps your guests dry and cool all year round. Wired for sound and lights, the Heart comes with standard festoon lighting.
The house
The Main Venue at Merryvale boasts 3200 sq. feet for exclusive use of the wedding party and catering. It is wedding perfect with all the amenities any couple could ask for

Modern Ranch Style Home on 5 plus acres featuring 3 Bedrooms 3 Bathrooms & 2 ample size living areas. The open floor plan is full of light, color & original art. Merryvale is nestled among towering oaks in the hill country with over 5000 sq. ft of patio and outdoor living space. A pool with waterfall and heated spa and upholstered patio furnishings are just a few of the amenities located in the beautifully landscaped backyard.
This gated property tucked away just five minutes south of Austin is a quiet escape from city life. Free roaming wildlife abound. Convenient to I-35 and toll road 130 & 45. You are 15 minutes to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport & 25 minutes to Circuit of the Americas & & Formula One Race Track. Five minutes to shopping and restaurants & 15-20 minutes to downtown Austin.
Separate fees apply for overnight accommodations at the main house if scheduled for during an event.
